What is a Crankshaft?
The crankshaft is a mechanical component in a piston engine and also the main rotating component. After the connecting rod is installed, it can bear the up-and-down reciprocating motion of the connecting rod piston and convert the reciprocating motion of the piston into rotational motion. It is a key component of the engine power transmission system.
The crankshaft is a rotating shaft with one or more crank pins, which is driven by the piston through the connecting rod.
Generally, the crankshaft is made of materials such as forged steel, ductile iron, titanium, and aluminum composite materials. Because the crankshaft needs to move continuously, the material made of the crankshaft needs to be strong and fatigue-resistant to ensure the long service life of the crankshaft.

Next, let’s introduce the crankshaft information of our two hot-selling engine models, Kubota V2203 and V2403 engine crankshafts.
The crankshaft of the V2203 engine is divided into two models according to different crankshaft main journal diameters, namely 52mm and 60mm, and the corresponding stroke (i.e. stroke) is 99mm and 103mm;
for V2403, the crankshaft main journal diameter is 60mm, and the corresponding stroke is 109mm.
V2203-52=99mm
V2203-60=103mm
V2403-60=109mm
